The succulent plant almost didn't look real.
This was the river where Des found a prehistoric flint knife, which I still have. It is very precious to me and will always be a reminder of my trip. Just before I went to France I read Shelters of Stone for the second time. It is about the Prehistoric people who lived in the area. Reading this book made my trip all the more special especially when I saw the caves at Lascaux. You don't get how impressive they are until you see them in real life. This trip was a gift from my Heavenly Father and a very kind cousin. It was filled with wonderful experiences and hours of good conversations with kindred spirits. I love my cousins who we went with very much. The special bond of extended family became clearer to me. I have been given the gift of lots of extended family. Life would be less rich without them. I am grateful for family history work and the way it has brought me closer to my family - another gift from my Heavenly Father.
I am grateful for the abundance and richness of life.
