Young Women - lessons from Pizza

Who knew how much you could learn from the young women on ad eat as much as you like pizza evening.
I thought it would just be a fun evening for the girls, but it turned out to be profound learning experience for me and for them. The girls began piling their plates with Pizza, everything looked so delicious. The also had bar-one milkshakes, except Joanne who ordered a cream soda. I warned them to finish what was on their plates before taking more. My warning was unheeded. As the time drew on and the girls began to feel full and their plates where sill full of pizza, they started to ask can't we take the left overs home. They were surprised when we said no. All except for Joanne who at two slices of pizza and said that was enough. She was the wisest of all last night.
As I sat there looking at the plates filled with pizza that the girls could not take home it occurred to me that this was an analogy for life. It does not matter how much you have materially you can't take it with you when you go home to heavenly father, you can only take those things that have become part of you.

Before we left I asked each girl what they had learned from "eat as much as you like pizza" They said things like - too much food is not good, take things one step at a time and you can't take it with you.

My Blog

Over the past weeks as I have posted things on My blog I have come to know more about myself and who I am. I am exploring aspects of myself that I have not for a very long time. Even if no one looks at this blog this is a good enough reason for me to do this.

It is also a little like keeping a journal, but diffent because you are just a little more careful what you record because others might see what you have written.

Most of all I have enjoyed the time spent and rediscovered things about myself I have forgoten.

This has also made me aware of things I am sensitive about and did not know i was senstive about, like my testimony, the things I believe and feelings.
