Sunday

Today was a good and busy day. I went to church this morning and as usual I was late. I went to Sunday School and played with a beautiful baby boy who smiled at me. This was a welcome distraction from a discussion about the spirit world and Resurrection that become confusing and I found myself inwardly disagreeing with things that where being said. It is amazing how differently people can interpret the same scripture. The baby was wonderful though and I made a new friend of his mother. She was new, her husband has just been baptised

Thuto and Nikiwe can home with me after church. We had lunch, tidied up and took photos of the girls. They acted like two little models and let me photograph them for a while. When they where tired of this game they went outside in the warm sunshine to climb the Jungle Gymn.

Then they where hungry again so we had sardines on Toast. It was delicious and they agreed. After eating I tidied the kitchen again.

We went to visit brother Arnold. His in an old age home because he is not strong enough to live on his own any more. Brother Arnold turned 90 in December last here.

Brother Arnold told me he served in the second world war. He was in the Merchant marines. He saw a destroyer crash into a submarine and break it in half. He says he wished he had a camera then to record the even. Brother Arnold served for the entire second world war.
He also told me he was married 3 times. His first wife died of cancer the January after he turned 30. It was good to visit him. I am glad I could take the girls with to see him. I will visit him again and I will take him some boiled sweets.
It has been a good Sunday. It was a holy day.

My Blog

Over the past weeks as I have posted things on My blog I have come to know more about myself and who I am. I am exploring aspects of myself that I have not for a very long time. Even if no one looks at this blog this is a good enough reason for me to do this.

It is also a little like keeping a journal, but diffent because you are just a little more careful what you record because others might see what you have written.

Most of all I have enjoyed the time spent and rediscovered things about myself I have forgoten.

This has also made me aware of things I am sensitive about and did not know i was senstive about, like my testimony, the things I believe and feelings.
