Today was mother's day. It was a good, busy day.
I woke up this morning and found Samantha in the kitchen attempting to make pancakes. I helped her and we had pancakes for breakfast.
I went to church. The Sunday school lesson was about the temple and I enjoyed it very much. As the South African Temple was discussed, I could not help thinking about my grandfather and how he went thought the temple before it was dedicated and died just after that.
It was a wonderful experience for him to go thought he temple. He was so ill that he could not walk and had to be taken in a wheel chair, but he wanted to go. When he got to the celestial room he was over awed and said this is so beautiful.
I did not get to see the temple before it was dedicated. I felt a little disappointed, but I made a promise to myself that I would go to the temple and I would get a temple recommend.
I taught the young wommen lesson today. The lesson was also about the temple - more specifically temple marriage. It was a difficult lesson for me to teach, but it went well and I felt the spirit as I taught the lesson. I felt that the girls where touched by the things that where said.
