A few years a ago I asked for a lindt bunny for Easter. Des would not buy it for me, but on Easter Monday Wendy turned up with a lint bunny for me. It was very special to me.
I gave Des and the girls each a chocolate bunny and 2 white candy coated chocolate eggs this morning. Des left hi next to the bed. In the afternoon I took a nap. I was very tired and miserable. When I woke Des came and laid next to me on the bed and started easting his Easter eggs. Then he got to the bunny. He took the ribbon I had tied around the bag I put the bunny and the eggs in and tied it round the bunny's neck, then he presented it to me and said here is your lint bunny. I smiled at his funny gesture. He then took the bunny back but share it with me.
He did something similar on valentines day. Futhi had given me some roses to say thank you for taking photos for her at a valentines dinner she had planned. I put the roses in a vase on the kitchen table. The next day, valentines day, we sat at the table talking. Des took one of the roses out of the vase took all the thorns of of it and presented it to me saying "this is you valentine's present." I was not very impressed at the time.
